I have had good fortune, Some say luck is on my side
But I know my life is blessed because Lord God is my guide
He knows what's in my heart; my faith cannot be hidden
It gives me the strength to avoid what is forbidden
He gave me the gift to see the good that is all around
The depth of this treasure to others is profound
To be able to see the bright side instead of being troubled
Makes my load lighter and my happiness doubled
I may stumble, I may fall
But I know that through it all
He will be there to give me strength
To cope with Life's trial the entire length
